COMPANY PROFILE
AQSolutions was founded by Awo Quaison-Sackey after twenty years of human
resources and information technology experience in Fortune 500 companies.
She recognized the market need for a new IT sourcing approach after years
of first hand challenges with IT projects in her management roles. As
a native of Ghana, Ms. Quaison-Sackey has a deep understanding of what
it takes to develop a reliable team of professionals to satisfy today’s
customers.
MANAGEMENT
We believe that having an experienced management team is vital to ensuring
that your needs are met. Our management team has over 40 years of experience
in the areas of management, information technology, and information systems.
Awo A. Quaison-Sackey
Awo A. Quaison-Sackey is president and CEO.of AQSolutions. She founded
AQSolutions operations in Connecticut and Accra, Ghana. A native of Winneba,
Ghana, Ms. Quaison-Sackey hold an LL.B, LLM and MBA. She received a master
of laws degree and a master of business administration degree from Temple
University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Ms Quaison-Sackey has 20 years
of Fortune 500 experience with UGI Corporation, Avon Products, Inc., Southern
New England Telecommunications (now SBC) and United Technologies Corporation
(UTC).
Ms. Quaison-Sackey is an active volunteer, serving as chairperson of
the Global Advisory Committee launched by the United Nations Development
Fund for Women (UNIFEM) to build strategic partnerships between African
information technology entrepreneurs and women’s organizations and
business associations in Africa. She is co-founder of the Digital Diaspora
Network for Africa – a network of entrepreneurs, corporations, United
Nations, and nonprofit organizations – whose purpose is to leverage
the resources of the diaspora to enable economic development in Africa.
Awo is also a past member of the Board of the World Affairs Council of
Hartford, Connecticut. She is a program leader with Landmark Education
Corporation, where she leads programs in leadership.
